On July 18th, cadets Gwenyth Fougere and Jonah Tuohy headed toward Lake Moultrie, South Carolina, to begin their education at Sail Academy. As an introduction to sailing, cadets learned how to capsize their boats, a method to bring a boat back up when it tips over. Students also learned the academics behind sailing throughout the week, including knowing what side to steer the craft and where one needs to face. On the last day, July 23rd, each cadet received a medal for participation and a shirt to take home with them!
