On April 13th, our Orienteering Team cadets traveled to Green Sea Floyd High School to participate in their Raider competition. Cadets participated in many challenges, including a quarter-mile relay race, a truck pull, a knot-tying, a boat-carrying relay, a rope traverse, and a challenge course where cadets completed an obstacle course while carrying a 90-pound litter. The obstacle course included tire flipping, high and low crawls, crossing a balance beam, traversing a six-foot wall, carrying rucksacks, and carrying ammo cans from one point to another. Overall, our cadets placed second in the traditional division and third in the co-ed division. Our cadets were also complimented on their high morale and aptitude.
