Overview
The Carolina Forest NJROTC Rifle Team delivered an impressive showing at the National Championship in Columbia, Missouri. Six cadets represented the program, led by team commander Andrew Newcome, and the team stood 25th out of 37 of the best competitive NJROTC teams from across the country. The standout of the event was the unit’s Executive Officer, Cadet Fougere, who earned an outstanding 6th place overall finish and secured her spot on the Navy team for Service Nationals next month. Fougere also achieved a personal milestone, firing her all time best score of 1094 out of 1200, showing her skill and dedication to the unit as a whole. Job well done to these cadets for their extraordinary talent and representing their unit.
