The CFHS NJROTC unit cleared a massive field full of tree stumps, unused pipes, and debris to make room for numerous vendors, cars, and inflatables. As thanks for our volunteer work, Rise to the Sun Car Show gave our cadets tickets to attend the show and gave part of their proceeds to support us!
On Friday, March 10th, Carolina Forest Drill Team headed to North Carolina to compete in the Cary High School Drill Meet, consisting of drill routines, physical training, and knockout. After all the routines and events concluded, our school took first place overall in the Drill Section!
This weekend, our Academic Team went to Cary High School to compete in the Area 6 Brain Brawl. Of the 23 teams that competed, the Carolina Forest NJROTC Academic Team took 5th overall!
This year, Carolina Forest NJROTC hosted the South Carolina NJROTC Rifle Junior Olympics! We invited Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Conway, Saint James, Summerville, and other local schools to participate in the competition and shoot alongside our Varsity and Junior Varsity teams.
On February 25th, Carolina Forest NJROTC participated in the PTSD Awareness Parking Detail. The cadets enjoyed taking on the responsibilities of directing cars and parking through teamwork!
