Overview
On February 14th, for the first time, the NJROTC cadets traveled to the Myrtle Beach International Airport for a tour of the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. The Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics is where aviation technicians are taught to build and repair different variations of airplanes. The cadets then were given an in-depth behind-the-scenes tour of the airport itself, even being able to go out on the tarmac and the main communications room. Overall, our cadets carried themselves very well and received multiple compliments from the tour guides on their behavior.
