CFHS NJROTC 2024-2025 End of year Ceremony

2024-2025 CFHS NJROTC Staff Officers

Overview

On May 15, Carolina Forest High School NJROTC held their annual end-of-year awards ceremony to conclude another exceptional year for our unit. During the ceremony, multiple distinguished cadets were recognized and awarded for their exemplary conduct, leadership potential, aptitude, military bearing, and personal appearance. These awards were given to the cadets by groups that support and sponsor our NJROTC program such as the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Army National Guard, and Military Order of the Purple Heart.

Change of Command

After the awards ceremony the time-honored tradition of changing of the command was executed. The change of command ceremony is a tradition signifying the relinquishment of duty from the outgoing commanding officer, Mackenzie Praet. The new commanding officer, Eden Ngo, then took command of the unit and invited his executive officer Gwenyth Fougere to join him on the stage. After the ceremony was complete Captain Boyle congratulated the new officers and the unit for such a successful year.
